Missing Oregon, its insane gray weather, and all its greenery. I love everything about this Pacific Northwest state. Some weekends, I’d crave for those those days when Waldport and Newport were only an hour away from where we lived (in Corvallis). What I truly enjoyed doing, whenever time permitted, was going on a road trip right before sunrise so I could catch a glimpse of grays, switching into blues and greens and other hues in between. It was magical and breathtaking at the same time.
Newport, Oregon
Perhaps this city’s most iconic landmark is the gorgeous Yaquina Bay Bridge. More than just a way to cross the bay, the bridge is an ambassador for the city and a magnificent piece of art-deco architecture.
Waldport, Oregon
It is amazing how in Waldport, in less than five minutes, you’d witness shades of gray transition into several hues of blue. These photos make me miss its shores as I write this article. The postcard-view always spoke with me on an emotional level.
I visited Oregon once and I absolutely can’t wait to go again! I really love your photos and I will have to check these places out for my next trip there
Beautiful photos. I have never been to Oregon.
